COVID -19 PANDEMIC “ A LONG WAY AHEAD TO GET PAST IT” SAYS W.H.O CHIEF

W.H.O chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that even though more than 780 million doses of COVID -19 vaccine have now been administered globally, the pandemic “will take a long time to be gone, but it can be brought in control if people will start taking necessary precautions and with proven public health measures.

The W.H.O chief also said that “In January and February the world saw six consecutive weeks of declining cases. Now the world is seeing seven weeks of increasing cases and four weeks of increasing death rates.”

The virus has infected more than 136,500,400 people and killed over 2,944,500 people across the world till now.
