A late Greenwood goal ensures United comeback
Man Utd. 2-1 Brighton
M. Rushford(62min) D. Welbeck (13min)
Red devils went against the seagulls hoping to reduce 17 point gap built by the league leaders Manchester City.
Manchester United were a bit sluggish in the first half. They seemed to lack creativity and sharpness in the final third. They looked good in early 10 mins. Greenwood hits the woodwork but Welbeck's goal sent them off track.
It took them second half to find their feet. A stellar pass from Bruno to find Rushford who makes no mistake to find back of the net. Fernandes ability to find his teammates in spaces has helped United a lot. This is the quality which lacked earlier in their attack. Now they are filling the holes in their attack.
In final 10 mins Greenwood capitalized on a miscued shot from Pogba. He heads the ball from the center of the box to beat Sanchez.
With this United have taken 25 points after trailing. They are currently unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League games. United would be happy to take away 3 points.
Brighton have taken a huge hit in their relegation battle. They would be disappointed to go empty handed after this game. Yet there are still 8 games to play and they would be looking to ensure their survival this season.
