Conway scored 200 in 347 balls broke the record of former Indian captain Souav Ganguly’s 25 year old record for scoring the most runs in debut match. He scored 131 at lords itself.

Apart from this Convey also broke the record of former England cricketers Ranjitsinhji and WG Grace. Ranjitsinhji held the record for the highest score by an England debutant in 125 years. At the end of day 2 England are 111 for 2 wickets, Root and burns are on crease. England are trailing by 267 runs from New Zealand.
